Discipleship Group Conversation, “Same Sex Marriage”
Join us in the Main Sanctuary at 6pm for a special event. Our Discipleship Group will present a dynamic conversation on an important social topic in our society today, Same Sex Marriage.
- Moms in Prayer. Monday, 10am in the Youth Room. We are mothers who, together, bring all our concerns before our Heavenly Father. Let us stand with you in prayer for your children and their schools.

- Youth Ministry, Wednesdays, 6:30pm. The High School and Junior High ministry invites all 6th through 12th grade students to fellowship with us. This ministry builds relationships with God and people through discipleship, serving, studying the bible, and worshiping Jesus! Our mission is TO KNOW JESUS AND MAKE HIM KNOWN! Operation Christmas Child Calvary Ventura. October 20-November 17.
Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. Operation Christmas Child County-Wide Shoebox Collection Week. November 18 – 24
This year we once again are blessed with the opportunity to co-labor with Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child ministry. Calvary Ventura will be a shoebox collection center for our area. We have the opportunity to minister to, pray for, and share the love of Christ with our community as they bring their shoeboxes to our church!
What does that mean?
Our doors will be open to not only receive the shoeboxes, but also to welcome and share the love of Christ with the individuals bringing those boxes. The collection week at Calvary Ventura will be Monday, November 18 thru Monday, November 25.
What do we need?
Teams of servants to welcome, pray, disciple, encourage, serve. Some will be meeting & greeting our visitors, some will be receiving the shoeboxes, some will be behind the scenes processing the boxes… and many will be surprised by the plans God has as we say, “Here I am Lord, send me!”

LIFE GROUPS
Jesus said, “…I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” This abundance Jesus spoke of is not abundant wealth or abundant possessions, it’s abundant fruitfulness! Jesus has come that we might bear abundant fruit for God’s glory (John 15:8). And just like any fruit bearing tree, in order to bear abundant fruit we need to be planted in the right soil containing the right nutrients and the right amount of exposure. This is precisely what a Life Group is designed to offer, the goal being that we would all bear abundant spiritual fruit for God’s glory! Click here for more info

- Children’s Ministry. Our Children’s Ministry is growing and with that grows our need for teachers, assistants, and toddler care.
